— Lisa Wagner

Worried your team here is all work and no play? Haven't lived enough to help realize your unique vision? Not to worry. Here at Ground Orchid we are real people. Our team has lived and traveled all over the world, and has read and studied deeply and widely. We have played a good deal along the way, too. Eager to share YOUR story, get it on paper, and laugh a bit? Get in touch with us. Meeting and working with people from all walks of life, is what we live for. We love to listen, and to help people realize goals while giggling and enjoying the arts and pleasures life offers us along the way. Come, see for yourself.
At Ground Orchid we promise to make sure that you are listened to, and that you, and your work, are treated with respect and care. Here, we pay close attention to each author, each student, each person who works with us, believing that empathetic collaboration is the key to any successful project. We believe that our words, our thoughts, and creative actions sculpt the realities around us, and so, too, believe that as we sit with our works, talk through words, and refine our language, we consciously, re(de)fine the world of our own art, our own creation. Not all work is the same. No one individual is like another. Diversity in art is beautiful, and it is crucial. For without variation we are lost to the narrow and small spaces. We celebrate this, and so, with humor and humility we bring our varied skills and backgrounds together to advance creative and unique visions, like yours, in and of the world. Our mission? To celebrate a broad, creative view of the world through question and query, work and words, laughter and joy, you and us, and all of our partners working with us at Ground Orchid.
Working in the field for over two decades, Lisa Wagner has an MA in English Literature and Critical Theory, MFA in Creative Writing - Nonfiction, a BA in Art History and Religion, and is TESOL certified. She has worked on research projects, magazines, novels, long and short-form essays, non-fiction books for international publications, as well as directing city-wide festivals to celebrate literary arts. What do they all share in common? Lisa's love of story and how those stories make us who we are, together.
If you are open to collaboration and love words as much as we do, we are eager to meet you. Our team at Ground Orchid is always open to new talent and relationships.
